SUMMARY:Two month Fasting and Prayer Time
DESCRIPTION:የሁለት ወር የጾምና ፀሎት ጊዜ ጅማሬ ከ15 አመት በላይ ያስቆጠረ ሲሆን ፓስተር ብርሃን ከፓስተር ሜርሲና ከሌሎች ወገኖች ጋር በመሆን የተጀመረው ነው። ያን ጊዜ ፓስተር ብርሃንና ፓስተር ሜርሲ ገና አልተጋቡም ነበረ። ይህ የጾምና ፀሎት ጊዜ በቤተ-ክርስቲያናችን ከተጀመረ ጀምሮ የእግዚአብሔርን እርዳታ ያየንበትና ትላልቅ ሚስጥራትን የተረዳንበት ሆኖአል። በአሁን ጊዜም በእያንዳንዱ አጥቢያ የሚደረግ ሲሆን በየአመቱ አዳዲስ ሀይልን የምንቀበልበትና ወደ ሚቀጥለው ምዕራፍ የምንሻገርበት ነው። \nየ2010 አመትም የጾምና ፀሎት ጊዜ መድረሱን በጣም በደስታና በአክብሮት በማሰብ እንደገና በእግዚአብሔር ፊት በአንድነት የምንሆንበትን ጊዜው አሁን ነው። በየአመቱ ከምናየው አዳዲስ የእግዚአብሔር ክብር የተነሳ መቼም ቢሆን ልንለምደው የማንፈልገው፣ የማንሰለቸውና በጉጉት የምንጠባበቀው ሰአት ነው። እግዚአብሔር ብዙ ፈውሶችን የሰጠን፣ የሕይወት ደረጃችንን የቀየረበት፣ የአገልግሎት ድንበራችንን ያሰፋበት፣ የቤተ-ክርስቲያን ራዕይ የተቀበልንበት፣ የአመራርና የአሰራር ጥበብ ያገኘንበት እና ብዙ መናን የተቀበልንበት ነው። በዚህ አመት ርዕሳችን መብዛት የሚል ነው። እግዚአብሔር እንደተናገረን የርኆቦት አመታችን ላይ እግዚአብሔር በሁሉ አቅጣጫ የሚያበዛን እና የሚያሰፋን ጊዜ ነው። \n\nቀን: \n\nየ2010 አመት የጾምና ፀሎት ጊዜ ከየካቲት 5 እስከ መጋቢት 30 ይሆናል።\n\nየአንድነት የፀሎት ሰዓት: \n\nቴሌኮንፍራንስ (አሜሪካ): ሰኞ – ቅዳሜ ጠዋት 12:00 – 1:00 ፣ ማታ 2:30 – 4:00 (ከዕሮብ ማታ በስተቀር)  (404-4100855) \nበቤተ-ክርስቲያን (አትላንታ): አርብ ማታ 2:30 – 7:00\nበቤተ-ክርስቲያን (ኢትዮጵያ): ሰኞ – ቅዳሜ ጠዋት 3:00 – 6:30\n\nአካሄድ: \n\n ምግብ፡ ከቀኑ ዘጠኝ ሰአት በፊት የማይበላ ሲሆን እሁድ ለት ግን ከቀኑ ስድስት ሰኣት በኃላ መመገብ ይቻላል።\n የሚጠጣ፡ በፆም ጊዜ ብዙ ውሃን በመጠጣት መቆየት ይረዳል።\n\nየየሳምንቱ ርዕስ: \n\nእያንዳንዱ ሳምንት የራሱ የሆነ ርዕስ ሲኖረው በዚህ መሰረት በአንድ ልብ እና መንፈስ ሆነን ሁላችንም በያለንበት እንተጋለን።\n\nመዝጊያ: \n\nየአመቱ የሁለት ወር የፆምና ፀሎት ጊዜ የሚጠናቀቀው በእያንዳንዱ አጥቢያ በፋሲካ ሳምንት ሶስት ቀን ኮንፍራንስ በማድረግ ይሆናል።\n\n\nThe start of the annual two month prayer and fasting time dates back to 15 years ago when Pastor Birhan along with Pastor Mercy started to gather with few other friends. This was even before Pastor Birhan and Mercy got married. This heavenly tradition continued and became part of FGIC. For the years to follow\, all FGIC local churches joined and this fasting and prayer time has become a strong force and backbone for where the church is today. \nIt is with great privilege and honor to come together once again for a new year to seek God during this time. There is always a new move of God and we never want to get used to it. We always expect greater and new things. We have experienced the hands of God every year after Fasting and Prayer. We have seen healing\, restoration\, new ideas\, new vison and new strength over our church and those who join us for this time. This year\, we are going to pray for MULTIPLICATION. It is our Year of Rehoboth and we shall Multiply in every direction. \n\nDATES: \n\nThe 2018 annual two month Fasting and Prayer time will begin on February 12 and ends on April 8.\n\nPRAYER TIMES: \n\nTeleconference for USA: Monday – Saturday 6-7AM and 8:30 – 10PM (Except Wednesday evenings)  (404-4100855) \nChurch Gathering (Atlanta): Fridays 8:30PM – 1AM\nChurch Gathering (Ethiopia): Monday – Saturday 9AM – 12:30PM\n\nRULES OF CONDUCT: \n\nFood: No food until 3 PM daily\, except on Sunday. On Sundays\, we fast until 12PM\n\n\n Drink: Please consume plenty of water throughout the day\n\nWEEKLY ADENDA: \n\nEach of the 8 weeks of fasting and prayer time will have its own prayer topic. We shall seek God and lead our congregation to pray with this same heart and spirit.\n\nCONCLUSION: \n\nThe fasting and prayer time will conclude with three days conference at each church location\n\n
